HOAG guitar with optical Pickup "combo" has both guitar and divided output.

THE TRUE REPRESENTATION OF A STRINGED INSTRUMENT WAVEFORM IS                                         AN   "ANALOG WAVEFORM"

THIS HAS BEEN TRUE FOR DECADES.

THE NEXT GENERATION OF HOAG GUITARS  WILL BE WITH THIS TRUTH IN MIND.

  THANK YOU,

RON HOAG, INVENTOR.

This pickup is placed at the bridge.

AND DOES NOT COME IN CONTACT WITH THE STRING.        AS THAT WOULD COMPROMISE THE  OVERTONES.

Output can be BOTH  MONO AND DIVIDED MODE FOR MODELING AND  MIDI CONVERTER.

POWERED BY AN A.C. ADAPTER  OR BATTERY

RON HOAG'S LIGHT BEAM PICKUP, IS A FULL FREQUENCY OPTICAL SENSOR AND IS PLACED AT THE BRIDGE FOR BEST UNIFORMITY WITH FUNDAMENTAL AND HARMONIC FREQUENCIES. THERE IS NO CONTACT WITH THE STRING TO ALTER THESE TONAL PATTERNS AND FURTHER, ALL TYPES OF STRINGS MAY BE USED. THEY CAN BE FERROUS OR OF NON-FERROUS MATERIALS OR ANY OF THE KNOWN OR YET TO BE DISCOVERED STRING COMPOSITIONS.

THE OPTICAL SENSOR IS A NEAR PERFECT PICKUP, DUE TO ITS  SUPERB FREQUENCY RESPONSE FROM 1 CYCLE PER YEAR TO OVER 100,000 CYCLES PER SECOND. WE HAVE ADJUSTED THE TONAL SPECTRUM TO ALLOW FOR THE BEST PERFORMANCE OF THESE    INSTRUMENTS. TONAL FREQUENCIES CAN BE ADJUSTED TO    PERSONAL TASTE.
