Since 1969, Chicago NAMM.
I do not sell anything and for information only.

The string is all you need for the sound of the stringed instrument. All harmonics are present and traveling up and down on this string, when vibrating.

I will put up videos from time to time and will specialize in original tunes
 and blues.
Thank you for listening.

BETTER SOUND FROM CHEAP WOOD,  OR NO WOOD AT ALL.
THE SOUND COMES FROM THE STRINGS.

THE WOOD ONLY CHANGES THAT SOUND.
WE HAVE ASSUMED THAT THIS IS BETTER  SOUND THAN
THE ORIGINAL SOUND FROM THE STRING.

WHAT THE STRING IS MADE OF AND HOW IT'S MADE,
MAKES THE DIFFERENCE. MY OPTICAL PICKUP WILL RESPOND
TO ALL STRINGS AND WHAT THEY ARE MADE FROM,
FERROUS OR NON-FERROUS MATERIALS.

Guitars with Optical Pickups since 1968 and first shown at the

 1969 NAMM Show.

Hoag optical pickups have better tracking for MIDI guitars and string basses.

Thesepickups have extended audio range and are very fast, reacting

in microseconds.

Also, the lower frequencies are not lost.

Hoag optical pickups are sensitive to frequencies from a few hertz

 to well above human hearing.

Many string compositions may be used such as nylon, gut, bronze and steel.

Hoag optical pickups are designed to be sensitive to different string types

and deliver the nuances of each kind.

Rascal Flatts,  is playing the  LED GUITAR  by VER,
which is using the Hoag Optical Pickup .
No electrical noise is picked up by my Hoag Optical Pickup.
